Fireworks can be festive and exciting, but it is important to know the laws and risks associated with the use of fireworks.
Not all fireworks are legal in Arizona.
Legal consumer fireworks include:
- ground and hand-held sparkling devices
- cylindrical fountains
- illuminating torches, wheels
- ground spinners
- flitter sparklers
- toy smoke devices
- wire sparklers
- dipped sticks
Consumer fireworks that continue to be illegal for use in Arizona include:
- sky rockets/bottle rockets
- reloadable shell devices
- single-tube devices that are shot up into the air
Fireworks can be used through July 6th, 2018 anywhere on your property.
For safety, be sure to use fireworks on cement and have water nearby. Please also keep your neighbors in mind. Not everyone loves fireworks. Pets, vets and many others struggle this time of year.
Be respectful, stay safe and Happy Independence Day to everyone!BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
